Creating a strong, talented, and committed staff is critical to your organization’s success and longevity. Staff recruitment and retention continues to be challenging for many nonprofits in our region. Helping your board and supporters understand that your nonprofit, like many others in our region, struggles with staff recruitment and retention may help you secure the resources needed to address the challenges.

Educating your community about the HR issues and challenges within your organization and within the larger nonprofit community can help you find solutions together. The following are just a few HR nonprofit statistics:

  • 35% of nonprofits reported being unable to meet salary demands for top talent and common staff positions
  • 91% of nonprofits reported increasing salaries in 2024
  • The nonprofit turnover rate is 19%
  • 74% of nonprofits have job vacancies

The Greater Cincinnati Nonprofit News would like to help your nonprofit with staff recruitment. We can help your organization recruit experienced and talented applicants for your open positions – the majority of our readers currently work in the nonprofit sector and many have more than ten years of experience. It is easy and affordable to post your nonprofit job opening in GC Nonprofit News.
