Talent Manager
The Talent Manager will provide strategic direction for the Division of University Advancement to ensure we attract the right talent and help them grow to their optimal potential. The Talent Manager will oversee the full scope of processes to attract, onboard, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing employees. In addition to running full-cycle recruitment for open positions, the Talent Manager will also be constantly building a diverse pipeline of fundraising talent. Finally, this position will be vital to increase awareness and ensure that our recruitment initiatives demonstrate a measurable commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Finally, this position will be vital to increase awareness and ensure that our recruitment initiatives demonstrate a measurable commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
This position will report to the Director of Gift Processing and Business Services and will be the primary contact for HR matters for the University Advancement staff.

Job Duties:
•Strategically manages the recruitment process within University Advancement, including assisting hiring managers with the writing and revising of job descriptions, developing a recruitment plan, and counseling hiring managers on recruitment related issues.
•Works with external search firms as necessary and represents the division at job fairs and recruitment/networking events.
•Creates and implements high impact sourcing programs and networks to attract a rich, broad, diverse pool of candidates.
•Serves as the primary contact within University Advancement for all human resources related matters and is the primary liaison with the Office of Human Resources and the Office of Equity and Equal Opportunity regarding staff related programs and policies, compensation structures, job description development, and all other HR related issues.
•Assists leadership with the performance management process, ensuring evaluations are completed by established deadlines with proper documentation, and counsel’s leadership on handling performance and discipline issues should they occur.
•Works with University Advancement’s senior leadership to oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of a variety of programs, initiatives, and policies, including those related to onboarding and offboarding of staff and to promote professional development and training, staff engagement and retention, and effective organizational communication.
•Monitors and tracks budgets for positions, salary savings, and vacancy credit.
