We (HCMHRSB) are seeking a seasoned strategic professional to lead our comprehensive system of publicly funded behavioral healthcare services available to Hamilton County residents. HCMHRSB is the authority charged under ORC §340 with planning, funding, and evaluating behavioral health care in Hamilton County. We are statutorily prohibited from providing direct care to clients and instead contract with numerous agencies to provide direct care in a community based (non-hospital) setting. Together we form a network of care that affects the lives of over 25,000 clients, helping them lead healthy and productive lives.

Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (MHRSB) provides leadership in public behavioral health care as the authority charged under ORC §340 with planning, funding, and evaluating behavioral health care in Hamilton County. MHRSB is statutorily prohibited from providing direct care to clients and instead contracts with numerous agencies to provide direct care in a community based (non-hospital) setting. Together we form a network of care that affects the lives of over 25,000 clients, helping them lead healthy and productive lives.

You will have responsibility for:
- Providing a system of behavioral healthcare that ensures a high quality of care for Hamilton County residents and promoting prevention and education efforts that reduce the impact of mental illness and addiction in the community
- Maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Hamilton County behavioral health system
- Advocating to local community, state, and national elected officials to provide increased support for community-based services
- Preparing for changing community needs and changing financial environments while maintaining consistent levels of care
Minimum Qualifications:
A qualified master level mental health or addiction services professional with experience in administration or a master level professional administrator with experience in mental health services or addiction services

Salary range: $200,000 to $250,000
