Pantry Assistant, IPM
The Pantry Assistant is a part-time position that assists with the operations of the Drive Through, Choice, and Mobile Food Pantries, including but not limited to managing and maintaining a well-organized and inviting pantry, restocking inventory, vendor food pick-ups and maintaining vendor relations.

Responsibilities
- Choice/Drive Through Food Pantry
- Lead setup, breakdown and supervision of volunteers during Drive Through or Choice pantry
- Monitors inventory and food orders as needed to ensure adequate supplies are available during pantry hours
- Picks up and plans for storage and movement of both donated and purchased pantry provisions
- Assists in maintaining the day-to-day activities of cleaning, stocking, filing and data entry and other relevant activities
- Assists with registering neighbors as needed using Oasis (neighbor database software) and TEFAP forms
- Assist in yearend inventory.
- Mobile Food Pantry
- Supports and supervises volunteers during mobile food pantries
- Receives orders and ensures quantities ordered are correct
- Assists with set up for shoppers
- Assist with tear down and transport of leftover food to pantry
- Supervision of volunteers and vendors
- Welcome and thanks volunteers
- Assigns tasks and utilizes volunteers’ skills during their shifts
- Other Duties as assigned or needed
Other Considerations

- Benefits include PTO and paid holidays. Starting pay is $18/hr.
- Working conditions including outside in rain or snow and/or irregular hours.
- Primary hours are Tues/Wed/Thurs and two Saturdays (1/2 day)/month and in the evenings for specific events.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle
