Operations Lead, CPBN
Community Peace Builders Network is a 501c3 nonprofit working to Improve the culture, and quality of life by inspiring peace, healing, hope and opportunity with all Cincinnati neighborhoods by supporting efforts to end gun violence. The Operations Lead will work with the CPBN Board and community partners to carry out initiatives from the Board, provide strategic coordination with our partners, and oversee the implementation of grants.

The Operations Lead will work with the CPBN Board and community partners to carry out initiatives from the Board, provide strategic coordination with our partners, and oversee the implementation of grants.
Duties
- Carry out initiatives proposed and/or approved by the Board, regularly reporting on progress to the Board of Directors,
- Provide strategic leadership and coordination with the Board of Directors to support sustainable organizational growth and increased impact,
- Oversee the implementation of grants and the identification of and application to additional grants that would support our work while allowing us to remain focused on our mission and vision,
- Identify and propose protocols for mentoring, tutoring and other credible messenger activities in alignment with best practices and practices that have a track record of success,
- Manage the daily work of CPBN including attending and presenting at public meetings as a representative of the organization, responding to regular correspondence, and overseeing social media as needed,
- Identify clear catchment areas targeting the most violent neighborhoods in Cincinnati and work to bring in new partners responsible for providing proven violence reduction strategies in those catchment areas / geographically targeted high violence areas,
- Identify surrogates and partners to do community outreach, resource development, research and documentation, or other public functions of the CPBN.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is highly motivated to end gun violence by providing support to individuals working in communities. Leadership experience, and grant management experience preferred. Experience leading teams, seeking and gaining consensus, and data-based decision-making is a must. Experience in the Cincinnati gun violence prevention community preferred but not required.
