Job Description

Mental Health Counselor

Competitive pay based on licensure and education

Starting at $45,000 and up

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Essential Functions:

  • Provide mental health services designed to meet the needs of youth.
  • Engage clients, families and natural supports to participate in treatment through treatment planning and progress reviews
  • Work with interdisciplinary team to assist youth in meeting their holistic needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy/counseling to youth in home, school, and office. 
  • Conduct risk and diagnostic assessments and develop/implement individual service plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention when needed
  • Participate in and facilitate treatment team meetings

Qualifications:

  • Professional licensure in State of Ohio as a Counselor (LPC), or Social Worker (LSW).
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles
  • Experience working with SED youth preferred
