Medical-Legal Partnerships Legal Services Coordinator
The Legal Aid Society seeks candidates interested in improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities by working closely with a team of attorneys and paralegal advocates at Legal Aid to help families resolve “social determinants of health.” The MLP Coordinator is responsible for interviewing clients referred through Legal Aid’s Health Law Partnerships, assigning cases in coordination with protocols, and communicating with health care partners to coordinate efficient services.

The MLP Legal Services Coordinator provides administrative support and maintains data needed by Legal Aid and the health care partners. Our current health law partnerships -- with Cincinnati Children’s and TriHealth/Good Samaritan hospitals -- take referrals for legal advocacy to improve health and mental health outcomes and stability for pregnant women, children, and families. This is a full-time position, based in our downtown Cincinnati office.
