The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving awareness, engagement, and support for the various missions and programs of Ohio Valley Goodwill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the missions and objectives of Ohio Valley Goodwill.
- Collaborate with the Head of Missions to understand program goals and effectively communicate them to external agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
- Create and manage marketing campaigns to promote Goodwill's programs, events, and initiatives to external audiences and partner organizations.
- Drive digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and website content management, to enhance outreach and engagement.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and newsletters, that effectively communicate Goodwill's impact and services.
- Cultivate relationships with community agencies, businesses, and media outlets to enhance visibility and support for Goodwill's initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
- Lead internal communications efforts to ensure employees are informed and engaged with Goodwill's missions and achievements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or social impact organization.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and content creation.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, such as social media management, email marketing, and web analytics.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive engagement and support for organizational goals.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for making a positive impact in the community.
Additional Information:
- This position reports to the VP of Marketing and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Ohio Valley Goodwill.
- The role may involve occasional travel within the Ohio Valley region for meetings, events, and community engagements.
