Marketing-Events Manager

The Covington Business Council (www.cbcky.com), a membership-based business organization advocating for a healthy business climate, is seeking an energetic, committed individual to direct CBC’s marketing efforts and events.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating logistics planning and serving as the primary contact for monthly luncheons, socials, hard hat tours, two golf outings, nonprofit lunch and learns and our Annual Dinner.
• Managing CBC’s social media platforms to promote the CBC and member companies and provide overall stewardship of the Council brand;
• Organize and implement Google analytics search criteria providing a differentiating presence among similar business networking groups;
• Writing and publishing a weekly newsletter;

Experience/skill set sought:

• 3 years organizing and executing business related events
• 3 years spearheading social media for a nonprofit organization
• 3 years working in a traditional office environment
• Establishing a customer focus mindset through a servant spirit
• Flexible attitude needed to deal with volunteers and a sometimes-deanding schedule
