Position Purpose:
The Kentucky Career Center Operations Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations and coordinate service delivery for the Northern Kentucky public workforce system (Kentucky Career Center), including facilities management and collaboration with the 18 workforce development, community, and educational partners of the Kentucky Career Center.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations and facilities within the eight-county Northern Kentucky service region. This includes execution of the following functions: First Impressions and customer service, Service Coordination and Continuous Quality Improvement, Marketing/Social Media, Safety and Security, Collaboration and communication, Innovation and Technology, and Strategic Plan.
- Ensure effective service delivery and performance, meeting or exceeding contractual KPI benchmarks
- Collaborate with KCC/community partners to execute impactful strategies to meet the demands of job seekers and employers.
- Manage budget, supervise staff oversee and staff KCC committees, complete required administrative processes such as partner MOUs and Infrastructure Funding Agreements, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Ability to travel within an eight-county service region
- Experience in workforce development, human services/non-profit, operations management, or human resources fields, required
- Demonstrated experience with budget management, customer service, program oversight, staff supervision, community relations, and public speaking
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience in managing strategic relationships and cultivating collaboration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva
