• Educates individuals by assisting with job leads, teaching resume writing techniques, teaching interviewing skills and assisting with the application process. 
• Assists veterans with translating military skills to a civilian resume and determining appropriate job matches by performing task analysis 
• Coordinate career counseling, evaluation, skills training, job readiness training, and other activities related to employment transition for clients. 
• Schedules and conducts intake interviews to assist in determining job goals and individuals served interest/needs. 
• Ensures veterans have adequate transportation to employment sites and when performing field activities such as application process or visits to employers.
• Maintain employer contacts and relationships for the employment of participants. 
• Contacts employers to identify job placement and career advancement opportunities.     
• Work with businesses, agencies and organizations to remove employment barriers, and resolve issues related to community reintegration and independence of people with disabilities 
• Build relationships and provide information to potential employers about military and veteran clients including Employment Development Department (EDD) and America’s Job Centers (AJC) 
• Ensure the delivery of services, which are reflective of client empowerment and self- advocacy.
• Develop a retention plan with each program participant while in the job search stage. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.  

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university desired, but not required.
• Or Relevant experience on a year-for-year basis, or credentialing that substitutes for the educational requirement; 
• 21+ years to transport individuals per regulations
