Family Services Director

Bethany House Services is seeking a dynamic Family Services Director to guide our vital Family Services Programming. This is your chance to drive transformative change and empower families through innovative educational and life skills programs!
What You'll Do: As the Family Services Director, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic leadership, overseeing early childhood and youth educational support, life skills training, and our essential nutrition program. Your role will include:
- Leading with Purpose: Supervise and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Manage department budgets, ensuring we meet and exceed our goals.
- Grant Guru: Collaborate with our Development team to identify and secure funding, maintaining strong relationships with our current funders.
- Policy Innovator: Create and implement effective policies and procedures that enhance our Family Services programming.
- Community Liaison: Act as the bridge between our organization and the broader community of outside providers to advocate for BHS families.
Your Vision for Change: We’re looking for someone who can think outside the box and develop comprehensive support systems that include:
- Designing impactful programs that address the unique needs of homeless families.
- Establishing a school readiness framework to nurture the holistic development of our children.
- Crafting engaging early childhood and youth curricula to enhance our KidzZone operations.
- Implementing life-skills training for adults to foster stability and long-term success.
- Exploring innovative childcare models to benefit our community while supporting our mission.
- Collaborating with our Chief Program Officer to build partnerships that enrich the lives of our clients.
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in social services, working closely with families.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership, coaching, and team development.
- An LSW to practice social work in Ohio.
