Executive Director, Genesis at Work Foundation
This is a start-up organization; the incumbent would be expected to assist with initiatives and projects in other areas.
The Executive Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Genesis at Work Foundation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people with disabilities and will be committed to the Foundation's mission to finding meaningful work for God’s children with special needs enriching lives and businesses.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Collaborate, develop, and implement strategic plans to achieve the Foundation's goals with CEO and others as needed.

Oversee the Foundation's day-to-day operations, including fundraising, grantmaking, financial management, Discovery Program, Inclusive Employers Program, Genesis Pathway Support (GPS) Program, Finance Committee, Prayer Committee, and Development Committee.

Attend quarterly Board of Trustees meetings, prepare Executive Directors report, and collaborate on agenda with CEO

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, media partners, community partners, and other organizations.

Provide leadership and guidance to the Foundation's staff and volunteers.

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Represent the Foundation at its events, community events and other public forums.

Recommends innovative ideas to help achieve our business goals.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred.

At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a nonprofit organization.

Strong strategic planning and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Knowledge of disability employment issues and best practices.

Experience with fundraising and grant writing.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
