Care Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Donor Relations Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in fostering and maintaining relationships with our donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated for their contributions.

The Care Center is a faith-based non-profit organization committed to helping individuals in suburban poverty thrive. We inspire hope by meeting practical needs and sparking change through employment and education. Through personalized mentoring and coaching, we aim to empower our community and make a lasting, positive impact on their lives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for non-profit work, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Donor Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain donors, including personalized communication and recognition programs.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing donor-related events and community outreach activities.
  • Communication: Prepare and distribute donor communications, social media appeals, thank-you letters, impact reports, and newsletters.
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate donor records in our database, ensuring all interactions and contributions are logged and updated regularly.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on donor activity and engagement to support fundraising strategies and goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Director to align donor relations efforts with overall fundraising objectives.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in donor relations, fundraising, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficient in social media platforms.
  • Effective marketing skills and exceptional storytelling ability.
  • Proficiency in using donor management software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for the mission and values of Care Center.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per month.
  • Flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend events.
  • Hybrid work environment with both in-office and remote work options.
  • Training in donor development strategies will be provided.
