Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Workforce Development to lead our efforts in creating and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the skills and employability of our workforce. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by developing and scaling new initiatives that address the evolving needs of our workforce and community.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of workforce development programs and initiatives to support the career advancement and economic mobility of individuals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify workforce development priorities and opportunities for innovation.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of workforce development professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with employers, educational institutions, government agencies, and community organizations to create pathways to employment and career advancement for individuals.
  • Oversee the development and management of budgets, grants, and contracts related to workforce development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact and utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in workforce development, and incorporate innovative approaches into program design and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive managerial experience in workforce development, including program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in developing and scaling new initiatives to address workforce development challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage budgets, and cultivate partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize data to drive decision-making and measure program outcomes and impact.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for and commitment to the mission of empowering individuals through workforce development.
