Director of Property Management
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Property Management for Girl Scouts of Western Ohio provides strategic oversight and direction in developing, planning, managing, and implementing all Council properties and facilities.

What you’ll be working on:
- Create an annual plan of work for each council property and manage the strategic long-range council property plan.
- Supervise, develop, and motivate property team leaders, rangers, and maintenance staff for all council properties.
- Promote a climate of partnership and collaboration with key internal and external constituencies to optimize capacity, increase efficiency and ensure delivery of property plan objectives and property-related services to volunteers and girls.
- Provide oversight for the standardized maintenance and replacement schedules, inventory control systems, and emergency preparedness procedures for all council owned and/or leased facilities and equipment.
- Prepare, review, and provide initial approval on all financial reports (monthly and quarterly), contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders related to council properties.
- Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the properties, including custodial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance, are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with all regulatory and accreditation standards, policies and directives.
- Oversee the negotiation and implementation of all approved capital projects for the council.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Minimum of five years’ experience with demonstrated success in asset management, facility development, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other legal requirements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and project management software.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a commitment to contributing to the organizational goals.
- Knowledge and experience with land development approvals, major construction projects, and supervision of outside contractors.
- Self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
