Director of Finance, KAA
The Ken Anderson Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and experience Director of Finance to lead our financial management and reporting functions. This key leadership role will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our organization as we continue to pursue our mission. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, cash flow and forecasting, reporting, and compliance.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experience Director of Finance to lead our financial management and reporting functions. This key leadership role will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our organization as we continue to pursue our mission. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, cash flow and forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the organization’ financial strategy including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the board of directors, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the management of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage the annual audit process and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and other senior leaders to support the overall mission and objectives of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA designation is a plus.
- Experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within a non-profit organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
- Non-profit experience is highly desirable.
