First Tee-Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky is hiring a multi-skilled administrative professional to think at a systems level while delivering an attention to detail and operational excellence every day. This pivotal role supports our mission to deliver our programs to over 20,000 kids and teens across our  region.

As a youth development organization, First Tee instills character, values and life skills through golf. We use golf instruction and the First Tee life skills curriculum to empower our participants, aged 7-17, to become healthy, successful adults. Operating at nine locations across seven counties, our Chapter is part of a network of 150+ like organizations in the USA and around the world. We are entering a new phase of growth as we approach the Chapter’s 20th Anniversary in 2026.

This position reports to and works directly with the CEO as well as in collaboration with other Chapter and First Tee Headquarters staff, board members and third party vendors and service providers.

Building upon a strong operational foundation the Operations Manager will uphold the high professional standards that the Chapter has built over years of growth.

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • Proven success as a nonprofit operations manager, office manager, executive assistant or similar role 
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills
  • Excellent social and collaboration skills; ability to “manage up”
  • Conscientious self-starter; ability to organize multiple functions and tasks
  • Proven ability to work with high-level executives and/or board members
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work processes and deliver improvements
  • Experience with accounts payable/receivables/financial principles
  • Comfortable working with technology: experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, donor database/gift entry, Salesforce andQuickbooks a plus
  • Willingness to “roll up sleeves” to support the work of grassroots organization
  • Ability to relate to individuals across cultures and diverse communities

Responsibilities

This is a prime opportunity to make use of your keen operations expertise and change the lives of kids and teens in our region. We want our Operations Manager to both refine and develop ways to support the growth of our Chapter and contribute to a strong, supportive culture of inclusion and nonprofit excellence.

  • Ensure the Chapter’s “back office” operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way, including optimizing already solid operational management systems, processes, and further developing “best in class” practices (20%)
  • Manage participant registration process using Salesforce CRM (supported by First Tee Headquarters) (30%--depending upon seasonal cadance)
  • Prepare and assemble board meeting materials, schedule meetings, and support the the CEO as required (10%)
  • Complete gift entry, thank you/receipting processes and maintain donor CRM (Bloomerang CRM) (10%)
  • Office management, including materials and supply ordering, vendor relations, and general office functionality (5%)
  • Manage SafeSport compliance and support new employee onboarding (5%)
  • Provide technical systems administration for platforms and apps used by the Chapter (5%)
  • AP/AR, including support for third-party accountant, invoice tracking, expense management and bank deposits (5%)
  • Other projects as assigned by the CEO (10%)

Salary, Benefits & Work Environment

  • Full-time 
  • Hybrid remote work environment with flexible working hours depending upon Chapter needs
  • $37,000-47,000 per year depending upon experience and skills
