Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Meals on Wheels of Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky (MOW) is hiring a CEO to lead the organization and ensure continued growth and community impact.

MOW is a mission-based, not-for-profit organization that is “much more than a meal.”  MOW delivers essential services as part of a two-part strategic plan to promote the independence of seniors. Our strategy focuses on services seniors need so they may remain in the comfort of their own homes as well as services to combat social isolation known to be a growing risk to health and wellbeing.  These services include meal service delivery, transportation, pet support, senior services, health and wellness programming, and more.

Meals on Wheels Southwest OH & Northern KY have grown to be the fifth largest Meals on Wheels America affiliate nationwide.  The organization is not only looking to sustain its current impact of serving approximately 1.4M meals and 10,000 seniors annually in 13 counties, but also expand its capacity to positively impact even more seniors.  To that end, we are in the “silent phase” of a 2-year, $30 million capital campaign whose purpose is to double the number of meals we serve in a new, larger facility, support innovation and new sources of revenue, and broaden the social impact through the range of services we provide.

  • Are you passionate about serving seniors, alleviating food insecurity, championing public health and nutrition education, and creating a sustainable safety net for some of our most vulnerable citizens?
  • Are you a forward-thinking leader who engages and collaborates with clients, staff, community partners, donors, business leaders and public officials?
  • Do you have a history of creating strong philanthropic relationships and connections?

Then, you might be the person we are looking for.
