About Us:
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to offering direct assistance to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Last year, we provided $948,000 in rent and utility assistance, helping families stay in their homes with access to vital resources. Through programs like food pantries, furniture assistance, Sweet Dreams, Summer Breeze, and Homeless Assistance, we serve our neighbors with dignity and compassion. With a robust network of volunteers and partnerships, we address immediate needs while empowering clients to achieve long-term stability.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Capital Campaign Coordinator will play a crucial role in the success of our capital campaign. This role focuses on managing campaign logistics, donor engagement, and data tracking while coordinating special events and supporting the campaign’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about nonprofit fundraising and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate campaign logistics, including scheduling and organizing steering committee meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
- Maintain and update the campaign prospect list while cultivating and engaging 5–10 high-priority prospects.
- Track and document donor interactions using Donor Perfect or similar CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist in arranging meetings with campaign prospects and manage follow-up communications.
- Plan and execute campaign-related events such as kickoffs, dedications, and celebrations.
- Oversee donor acknowledgment, pledge fulfillment, and reporting.
- Support campaign strategy discussions by analyzing trends and maintaining organized data.
- Flexibly work occasional evenings and weekends for events or key campaign milestones.
What You Bring:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nonprofit management, communications, business) or equivalent work experience.
- Fundraising Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in fundraising, event coordination, or nonprofit operations, with a track record of successful donor engagement.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including donor correspondence and meeting facilitation.
- Proficiency with CRM donor management systems (e.g., Donor Perfect) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred Experience: Experience with event coordination and supporting fundraising campaigns or donor stewardship initiatives.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
